James 1:12

Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

James 1:12 

James’ little epistle has a way of hitting you right between the eyes and this verse is no exception. Just look at it for a moment. Blessings (God’s favor) are promised to those who make it through temptations (difficulties) for those trials shape our lives, making us those God would approve. It ultimately leads to an eternal reward, a crown of life, given to those who have loved Him by enduring and showing they were approved. Quite a lot to think about. 

I want to encourage you to hang in there and let God have His perfect work. Know you are on your way to being approved and one day will be rewarded for all eternity.
