John 10:10; Romans 8:38-39
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
John 10:10; Romans 8:38-39
We may wonder what it means to have an abundant life. But Paul gives the answer to that question; it’s the unhindered and unbreakable love of God. And there is nothing imaginable that can thwart it. Christ promises us abundant life and unshakeable assurance in Him. That gives us the opportunity to reflect on what it means to have an “abundant entrance” into God’s kingdom. Are you living with eternity in view?
Are there areas of your life where you may be settling for less than the fullness God offers? Rest in the assurance of your salvation, not based on your own efforts, but on Christ’s finished work and God’s unfailing love. Bask in the abundance of His love and let this assurance motivate you to live boldly and fruitfully for Him.
