So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”

Peter’s restoration is one of my favorite stories. He goes from being weak and unable to identify with his Lord to dying for His faith one day. He had a complete transformation. Why? Because of His forgiveness and strengthening here in these verses.

Much like Peter, we, too, are often weak and unable to stand up for our Lord. But the Lord forgives and restores. He gives strength. And we, like Peter, can pick up our cross and faithfully serve the Lord all the days of our lives.
