Joshua 1:5-6
No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
Joshua 1:5-6
2 Peter 1:4 reminds us that we have been given “exceedingly great and precious promises.” These promises are the foundation of our faith and hope. As you read about Joshua taking leadership, notice how God’s promises gave him courage and strength. God wasn’t explaining how all this would work, He was simply promising that it would be done. We as God’s children don’t live on explanations, we live on promises.
What promises of God do you need to cling to today? Are you facing any situations where you need to be strong and courageous? Write down a specific promise from Scripture that speaks to your current circumstances. Throughout the day, repeat this promise to yourself, allowing it to strengthen your faith. Remember, God’s promises are reliable because they are based on His unchanging character.
