Jude 1:20-21

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Jude 1:20-21

In light of the warning from Jude that the last days before the Lord’s return for His people would be filled with impostors and false teachers (Jude 1:17-19), Jude calls upon the saints to continue to build themselves up in faith. They should rely upon the Holy Spirit and keep themselves in the love of God found in Jesus.
One of the most important things we can do to stand in these last days and not be overcome is to remain strong in our walks with God. Our Christian walk cannot stand still, for in so doing, we will begin sliding backward. We must press on. Mark the words building, praying, keeping, and looking carefully. In these last days, draw near to our God to stand fast as we await the rapture!
