Jude 1:20-21

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Jude 1:20-21

Jude encourages believers to keep themselves “in the love of God.” This doesn’t mean earning God’s love, which is freely given, but rather remaining aware of and responsive to it. In times of trouble or spiritual dryness, we can drift from the assurance of God’s love. 

What are some specific ways God has shown His love to you. When you think of them write them down, it will help. Then, consider how you can actively “keep yourself” in that love – through worship, gratitude, obedience, or acts of service. Let God’s unchanging love be your anchor in these uncertain times.
