Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see.”

As Jesus was ministering to the people, He turned to His disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.”  Kings and prophets have wanted to see and hear the things you have seen, but have not heard it.  But you have!

In other words, ”You guys are blessed!  You have seen and heard words straight from the Father. ” As Christians, as children of God, we can say the same thing. We are blessed!  For we have seen and heard from the living God.

Sometimes I think we take that for granted or we forget how blessed we are.  Next time we are having a challenging day, let’s remember we have seen and heard what kings and prophets had wanted to see and hear for centuries.

It is good to remember, just as Jesus said to His guys that day, that we are blessed!
