Luke 15:4-5
What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Luke 15:4-5
Have you ever worried that God may have forgotten you or just doesn’t care about you anymore? It’s a natural thing to do when we let our circumstances overshadow our perception of God. But just as Jesus pursued the demon-possessed man in Gadara, God continually pursues us with His unfailing love. No matter how far we’ve strayed or how lost we feel, God never gives up on us.
This would be a good time to reflect on those seasons in your life when you’ve felt God’s pursuit. Those times when His love found you in your darkest moments? Let that memory allow you to rest in the assurance that you are never too far gone for God’s redeeming love. He’ll always come after you.
