Mark 5:18-20
And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.
Mark 5:18-20
After his deliverance, the demon-freed man of Gadara wanted to stay with Jesus, but Christ sent him home to share his story. This man who was a subject of Satan has now been employed by Jesus. Jesus had a plan for his life to use him. To proclaim Him. Like him, we too are called to be witnesses of God’s work in our lives.
What has God done for you that others need to hear? Your story of faith, no matter how simple or complex, has the power to impact lives. Pray for opportunities to share how God has shown you compassion and changed your life. Take that step of faith and guaranteed, God will honor it and use you to proclaim Him.
