Matthew 13:31-32

Matthew 13:31-32

Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”

Matthew 13:31-32

This parable of the mustard seed teaches us that God can use small, seemingly insignificant beginnings to produce remarkable results. Think back to your recent days of walking with the Lord and your desire to follow Him. In your own life, what “small seeds” of faith, obedience, or service might God be asking you to plant?

Be encouraged that no act of faithfulness is too small in God’s kingdom. Whether you’re sharing a kind word, offering a prayer, or taking a small step of obedience, trust that God can use these seeds to produce a harvest beyond your imagination. So look for opportunities to plant seeds of faith, no matter how small they may seem. You’ll never regret giving God your best whether in small measure or great.
