Throughout Israel’s history there were nations all around that were enemies of God’s people. When Ezekiel announced the coming judgment that Israel would face, he also told of how God would judge Israel’s enemies for their treatment of Israel. Early on, God told Abraham that He would bless those who would bless his descendants and curse those who would curse God’s people (Gen. 12:1-3).
