A message from the series “Life In The Body 2010.” In this last part of the four-part series, Life In The Body, Pastor Jack continues in Matthew 18 looking at the parable of the Unforgiving Servant. In this parable, Jesus by way of application, draws a contrast between the enormous debt that God has forgiven us versus a ridiculously small debt that one would owe us showing that there is not one offense that would come against us that we could not forgive or should not forgive.
A message from the series “Life In The Body 2010.” In this study, Pastor Jack continues with the subject of Church Disciple looking at Jesus’ important words to those who belong to Him regarding their relationships to other members of the Body. For there to be a loving, healthy body of believers, then we must know what to do when there are those who get caught up in sinful practices. If a certain part of our physical body becomes injured or diseased, we automatically do what is necessary to bring healing and restoration. In the same way, we must go after those who have allowed sin in to control their lives and seek to restore them back into fellowship with God. To do so, forgiveness will be absolutely essential.
A message from the series “Life In The Body 2010.” This study is the first in a series that centers on the Scriptures that teach about life in the Body of Christ. In this study, Pastor Jack looks at the opening verses of Matthew 18 where we find Jesus talking about His kids and how important they are to Him. In this passage Jesus gives stern warnings to those who would deceive or harm His sheep in any way.
A message from the series “Malachi 2010.” In Malachi’s day, from all appearances the people looked spiritual and had a good relationship with God. God saw things differently and sent this prophet to open the eyes of the people so they would see how they were coming far short in their worship and obedience to the Lord. Malachi addressed several issues regarding their tithes and sacrifices. The people also needed correction in the areas of marriage and family. Lastly, he gave the people hope as he gave the prophecies about the coming Messiah.
A message from the series “Zechariah 2010.”
A message from the series “Zechariah 2010.” As spiritual worship was being established the question was raised concerning the fasting practices of the past. The religious leaders had added to what God had required for fasting and as such it was a practice that was mere form only. God does not want hollow rituals, but hearts that will obey His Word. Beyond this, Zechariah hears further from the Lord concerning Israel’s hopeful future and the restoration that will eventually come to God’s people.
