Most of the book of Job is made up of various speeches given by Job and his three counselors, Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar. Later on, we hear from a young man, Elihu, and finally God Himself. Typically each one takes a turn to try to explain the reason for Job’s great trial. Then Job responds by defending himself against their accusations. In this study, we hear Job’s response to Eliphaz, then Bildad’s reasoning, and Job’s answer.
