Proverbs 12:1-16

In Proverbs 12, Solomon focuses his attention on God’s word on several different men. The wise and good man (v. 1-2), the bad man (v. 2-3), the glad man (v. 4), the mad man (v. 5-9) whose thinking is all wrong, the working man (v. 10-12) the watchful man (v. 13-16). It is worth our time and effort to diligently study the Word of God, thereby allowing the Holy Spirit to implant His truths deep into our hearts. There are 31 chapters in Proverbs, one a day for even the longest months of the year. Read one chapter each day and grow in His way. You can begin with the one we outlined for you today. By the way, the last part of the chapter has more words for more kinds of men; see if you can find them for yourselves.
