Proverbs 20:3
It is honorable for a man to stop striving, since any fool can start a quarrel.
Proverbs 20:3
We live in a culture where people love to argue over everything. Social media has made it worse. It’s at a point where you cannot express an opinion without someone telling you that you are wrong. When people disagree with you and try to start an argument, it can be difficult to bite your tongue and walk away. Our pride will tell us that we are weak and that we need to stand up for ourselves.
In the verse above, Solomon tells us that any fool can start a fight, but it takes an honorable and wise person to walk away. Which type of person do you want to be?
