Proverbs 2:2, 4-5

…Incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; …  If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God.

Proverbs 2:2, 4-5

True understanding comes from seeking God’s wisdom. In our relationships, especially marriage, we often struggle to fully comprehend one another. Instead of relying solely on our own perception, today’s passage encourages us to earnestly seek wisdom from above. How might your relationships change if you approached misunderstandings with a humble heart, seeking God’s insight, asking Him to let you see the situation through His eyes. Today ask the Holy Spirit to grant you discernment and empathy in your interactions with others especially your spouse.
