Psalm 124:6-8

Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth.  Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped.  Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 124:6-8

Bless the Lord whose presence with us each and every time delivered us from being prey to our enemy. His presence also delivered our souls from the snare of the fowler. There is no need for fear or worry, we have escaped solely because the Lord has been our Helper. Our help is found in His name, the Lord who made heaven and earth!

Think back to the perils you have faced. Had not the Lord intervened, not come to your rescue, what might have been the result? David rejoices as he reminds himself of how big His God is! I have found that it is extremely important to remember when I am facing situations that are too great for me, that He has promised to stand by me no matter what! The challenges I face may be far beyond my capacity to handle, but never beyond His. He made the heavens and the earth and will see me through to the day that I am gathered to Him and finally get to see Him who has been watching over me all of the days of my life.
