Psalm 23:1
A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psalm 23:1
A good place to start with this Psalm is to reflect on the beautiful imagery of God as our shepherd. David, despite his royal status, humbly acknowledges his need for guidance and provision. In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to forget our dependence on God.
So, what does it means for the Lord to be your shepherd. How does this change your perspective on your current worries or challenges? Do you believe that He will lead, guide, and take care of you no matter what? In the same way a shepherd provides for his sheep, God promises to meet all our needs.
Take time to list the ways God has provided for you recently and thank Him for His faithfulness.
