Psalm 23:6

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Psalm 23:6

This verse finishes our journey through the 23rd Psalm with the promise of dwelling in the house of the Lord forever. What a glorious destiny. Jesus assured His disciples that He was preparing a place for them in His Father’s house. This eternal perspective can transform how we view our present circumstances. No matter what we are constantly followed by goodness and mercy. And in the challenges, we face, we can look beyond and see we have the hope of an eternal home with God. 

So how should this eternal hope impact your daily life? How does it change your approach to your current worries or fears? Ask God to help you live with an eternal perspective, allowing His goodness and mercy to follow you everywhere until you dwell in His house forever.
