Psalm 31:5
Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.
Psalm 31:5
Don’t overcomplicate a difficult season. Just keep doing good. Peter concludes Chapter 4 by encouraging believers to “commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator” (1 Peter 4:19). This act of surrender is crucial in our walk with God, especially during difficult times.
So how can we consciously commit ourselves to God. Are we holding back or guarding any areas in our lives? How can we demonstrate trust in His faithfulness, even when we don’t understand our circumstances? By remembering that the One who created you is faithful to complete His work in you. End your day by echoing David’s words: “Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.”
