Psalm 32:8

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Life is full of ups and downs and we tend to want direction or guidance in those tough moments. In this Psalm, we are reminded of a promise we tend to forget, God provides for His children with both instruction and teaching when we keep our focus on Him. Not only will God tell us how or what to do, but He will show us, be with us every step of the way, and never abandon us.

He says “I will guide you with My eye,” showing that for us to receive the guidance that we desire we are to keep our focus on Christ, it implies that there is a strong focus and attention to detail on our end to notice what God is instructing us to do. May we hold dear to this promise in those moments when we feel lost and without guidance, knowing that we can always go to Christ for direction.
