Psalm 37:5
Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
Psalm 37:5
There are people who always wonder where God is in their lives. Things aren’t going their way and they don’t feel like God is around. David wrote Psalm 37 later in life and his main point was to stop worrying and instead start trusting.
In today’s verse, David said to commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him. What problems do you have? Give them to the Lord, trust He can take care of them. Maybe you say, I don’t feel like God’s in my life. Trust in Him. It means even when you don’t feel like God’s there, trust that He is and wait for His answer.
This verse concludes, the Lord will bring it to pass, will make it happen, but it doesn’t give a timeframe. While waiting on the Lord to work out whatever is worrying you, stay busy in Him and know the answer is coming. The problem is we don’t like to commit problems to the Lord, we want to solve them ourselves and we don’t like waiting. If we can learn to do the things this verse emphasizes, our trust in the Lord will be strengthened.
Take these problems, Lord!
