Psalm 84:11

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Every year, on your birthday or Christmas, there is always that member of the family who you just know is going to give you an awesome gift. You look forward to it and it’s the first one you open. If that’s the gift a person can give you, how much better gifts will the Lord provide. For those walking with God, He holds back no good thing. He wants to bless His people, it gives Him joy to provide everything we need in our lives.

So what does it take to walk uprightly in the Lord? It takes repentance, turning from doing things our way to doing them God’s way, and having our sins forgiven. Most importantly, it takes salvation, accepting Jesus as your Savior so that your repentance and His forgiveness can be a part of your life. If you haven’t prayed to accept Jesus, you can do so right where you’re at and start receiving those good gifts!
