The Morningstar Children’s Ministry
The Morningstar Children’s Ministry goal is to minister the love of Christ to the whole family. Through God’s grace and your prayers, we can accomplish this:
Children (Deut.6:5-7)
To share God’s Word with them that they might learn to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength.
Parents (Heb. 10:24-25)
To come up alongside them as they seek to raise their children in the ways of the Lord.
Staff (1 Peter 4:10)
To give them an opportunity to use and develop the gifts God has bestowed on them.
The Body (Phil. 2:3-4)
To give them a chance to be able to be instructed in the Word without distraction.
Sign-in and Sign-out Procedures
The following procedures are implemented so that you can be free to worship, knowing your children are safe:

Upon signing your child into class you will receive a card with your child’s classroom number and the individual number that corresponds with the sign-in sheet. If the teacher needs to contact you during the service, the number on the card will be flashed on the lighted display located on the right wall of the platform. (Some seats on the sides of the sanctuary are unable to see the display).

After the service, return the card when you sign your child out of the classroom. Only the adult who signed in the child and who has the card will be allowed to sign him or her out of class.

All children 2-years-old through 6th grade must be signed in and out of their classroom by an adult.

All Children’s Ministry Staff members have undergone an extensive application and interview process as well as a background check.
Our full reliance is on the Word of God, so please allow your children to bring their Bibles to class.
Snacks are served in the classes as available. The staff and the parents provide them. Please communicate any restrictions your child may have to the classroom staff.
