1 John 2:1-2

My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

Even as we strive to walk in the light, we will stumble. But take heart! We have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the righteous One. He stands before the Father on our behalf, interceding for us. Moreover, He is the propitiation for our sins, having satisfied God’s wrath against sin through His sacrifice. If we are covered by the blood of Christ, when God looks at us, He sees the finished work of His Son.

So, meditate on the profound truth that Jesus not only died for your sins but continues to advocate for you in heaven. How does this change your perspective on your failures and struggles? Let this truth bolster your confidence in approaching God, knowing that in Christ, you are fully accepted and loved.
