Psalm 28:7

Psalm 28:7

The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.

Psalm 28:7

Trust is a two-way street; at least that’s what people say. However, when it comes to trusting in Our Savior, we need not be looking for some type of mutual arrangement. We must be mindful when things aren’t going according to our plans and it feels like God has forgotten about our prayers, God is working all for our good and for what will give Him the most glory. As a matter of fact, it is in those times we feel abandoned God is usually building up our faith and preparing our spirits for even greater things.

We have all experienced disappointment on one level or another and being alive this side of Heaven can feel overwhelming at times. God is never late nor rarely early when it comes to how much He has to show to us. It just takes us having a little faith in the One who created Heaven and earth, that all will be granted at the perfect moment. If you are experiencing a feeling of abandonment, remember the pain you are going through may be needed to encourage another believer one day. Someone may need to hear your story of faith and overcoming so their trial might become bearable. We are all here to lift each other up and God has not deemed you useless, forgotten, nor abandoned. He is preparing your spirit in what He deems the perfect time.

God Bless,
