Exodus 3:14

Exodus 3:14

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

Exodus 3:14

Can you imagine being Moses and talking with God? Throughout his conversation, Moses had questions and excuses for the Lord. In verse 13, Moses asked, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”

The above verse is God’s answer to Moses, I AM WHO I AM. That’s God’s answer to us when we ask His name. What do you need in your life? God would say I AM the provider of that. I need comfort, joy, a reason for living. God says, I AM all that you need.

How many times have we, as Christians, looked for worldly suggestions instead of remembering God’s loving provision. Don’t forget this verse, God is whatever you need and He’ll send you exactly where you need to go.
