Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.

Colossians 4:5

“Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”

Our speech should be graceful and seasoned with salt. Being seasoned with salt, like our food, it brings out the flavor. Our words should rich and have weight to them. Be patient and empathetic with whom we are sharing. But most of all, let the Holy Spirit use us and speak through us.
