Matthew 21:42

Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.  This was the Lord’s doing, And it was marvelous in our eyes?”

God is building His church!  We are the stones, and Jesus is that chief cornerstone. And just as the temple stones were perfectly fitted side by side, we are perfectly and exactly placed in His church. I like that!  We don’t have to feel out of place like we don’t belong, because God has placed us perfectly into his church. 

Before being saved, I often wondered, “What is this life all about?”  It seemed so meaningless. I asked, “What am I doing on this earth?” Yet when we are born again, Jesus cleans us off, picks us up, and places us exactly where He wants us in His temple.  We all have a place in the Body of Christ, a unique place where God has called us to and placed us. Thank you, Lord!

Thankful for being a stone in God’s holy temple,
