John 10:3
To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
John 10:3
In the morning, the shepherds would come through the door and call their sheep and get their flock together to go out for the day. We have all heard many sermons about how sheep are really dumb. It’s such a common message, but one that we can relate to!
Well, they might be dumb but they know the voice of their shepherd. And in the morning when they hear his voice, they perk up and follow. They know the voice of their shepherd.
There is a lot of noise and voices and distractions in this world, but we know His voice. Like being in a crowd of people and you hear your husbands or wife’s voice, you know that voice. We should always be listening for His voice among all the noise in this world. God is always speaking with us. We just are not always listening!
Listening for the voice of God,
