John 10:16

And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear my voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

John 10:16

I love this verse! Earlier Jesus talked about being the Good Shepherd and giving His life for the sheep. And then here Jesus mentions these “other sheep.” These other sheep who would hear His voice. So, who is He talking about?  He was talking about the Gentiles…. He was talking about you and me. Now if that doesn’t put a smile on your face, I don’t know what will! 

Think about that. As Jesus spoke that day to the Pharisees about the other sheep and that there would one day be one flock, he was thinking about you and me. Jesus has always had His eyes on us as His flock. Thank you, my Shepherd!

Blessed to be His “other sheep.”
