1 John 5:3-4

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

What an incredible and inspiring statement and one that is hard to wrap your head around. But it really is that simple, our unwavering obedience and belief that Jesus is who He said He is can overcome this evil world. The prophets and heroes of faith didn’t have the full revelation that we possess, yet they persevered. So, what does that say for us on this side of the cross?

Best thing we can do is identify areas where our faith is weak and ask God to strengthen it. Keep in mind that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Take a step of faith today, trusting in God’s faithfulness even when you can’t see the outcome.
