Psalm 25:1-5
To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause. Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:1-5
Do you have anyone in your life that you completely trust? As we begin this journey through Psalm 25, let’s reflect on David’s humble approach to seeking God’s guidance. He lifts up his soul to the Lord, trusting Him completely. We know that in our own lives, we often struggle with surrendering control.
So, we need to be honest and admit there are areas where we might be holding back from God. What fears or doubts prevent you from fully trusting Him? The Bible promises that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His guidance is rooted in love and wisdom. Hanging on to that truth we should offer each aspect of our lives to God’s direction. Ask Him to teach you His paths and lead you in His truth.
