Daniel 4:37

Daniel 4:37

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.

Daniel 4:37

As a young man, Daniel was taken into captivity by the Babylonians and brought hundreds of miles away from Jerusalem. He would find himself answering to a king who saw himself as king of the known world and who possessed the arrogance that title would instill. God used Daniel to speak to this king for many years and often his words fell on deaf ears. Eventually, however, Daniel was blessed to watch this man fall to his knees and acknowledge the God of heaven Daniel had been serving in his presence.

Today God may have you serving in a difficult place, but like Daniel, continue to pray and be a light each day. I do not doubt God is doing something in the hearts of those who are watching your living testimony day after day! The fruit is coming…..wait for it.

Seeking to shine,
