Ecclesiastes 12:1
Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them.”
Ecclesiastes 12:1
It’s been said that the best time to plant a tree is 30 years ago, so that you could enjoy the fruit today. But the second time is today, because you have to start.
King Solomon had the same idea here as he was closing the book of Ecclesiastes. He concluded that seeking the Lord was the most important part of life. And that the younger you start, the better. Our walk with God takes time to develop, no one became a fully grown fruit tree overnight.
So, If we want to enjoy the fruit of our relationship with God then hopefully we started many years ago, but if not, then today is a great day! There is no “too late” when it comes to God. No matter our age or stage of life, seeking God should be at the top of our priorities.
Seeking Him now,
