John 14:6-7

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

John 14:6-7

                 If there’s ever a bone of contention that people want to pick with believers it’s exclusivity. “You are too narrow, “they say to us. “You can believe what you want to, but to say that Jesus is the only way to heaven, now you’re going too far.”

            Well, they don’t need to blame us. They can call us narrow-minded if they want, but it was Jesus who said in Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it… Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.“

            Though there is one way to the Father, there are many counterfeit gates that both Satan and man have built that will lead men to their destruction. But thank God that He has kept it simple for us. If we would just believe! There is one way to God the Father, and that’s through Jesus. “If you know Jesus, you will know the Father.”
