John 3:1-2
There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
John 3:1-2
We are told that Nicodemus was a ruler of the Jews, which means he was one of the 70 members of the Sanhedrin., a big shot! And we are told here that, ”This man came to Jesus by night.” Now if anyone looked like they had it altogether, it was Nicodemus. But despite all that he had accomplished and attained, something was missing in Nicodemus’s life. He didn’t have peace and he was thirsting for God. He didn’t know it, but he needed God in his life.
Are there people in your life who you have been praying for to get right with God? Sure, we all do! Pray that they would be thirsty for God. Pray that they would be longing for peace in their hearts. Even those in our lives who seem to have it all together are thirsting for God.
We all have people in our lives who need to meet the Lord. Let’s not give up praying for them. I am glad someone didn’t give up praying for me!
Praying for others,
