Luke 1:7

But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.

Luke 1:7

You know, God has a way of answering our prayers, and then some, in His time.  

In the above verse, Zacharias and Elizabeth had probably been praying for years that the Lord would bless them with a baby and so not only does God answer their prayers by giving them a son, but He gives them a son who would be a huge part of God’s plan.

Have you been praying for something for awhile? Keep praying. Have you been praying and it seems like God is not answering? Keep praying. And watch what God will do, in His time!
