How much longer are we, as Christians, going to be here? Every day, we pray the Lord would come to receive His own. In 1 Thessalonians 4:16, it tells us, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.” This event is known as the Rapture and it is the event in which we don’t know the day or the hour.

Until that day comes, however, we should be staying busy in the Lord. We don’t know how much time we have left. If we look at the signs the Bible gives us, it doesn’t seem like it could be too much longer. But until that time, may we serve the Lord with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength to help others come to the Kingdom. 

Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
