Mark 6:47-48

“Now when evening came, the boat was in the middle of the sea; and He was alone on the land.  Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them”

Mark 6:47-48

Jesus had just fed the 5,000 with a few loaves of bread and fish.  And because of this, the people were crowding around Him and His guys.  So Jesus decided to send the disciples ahead while He stayed back and prayed.  Even though Jesus had sent His disciples ahead on the boat crossing the Sea of Galilee and knew what the disciples were going through, He waited. He knew their need just as He knows ours in whatever situation we are in.  

God is completely aware of our lives.  God sees us!  Just as Jesus saw them straining in the middle of the storm, He sees us. God is aware of the bills I need to pay, the difficult person at work that I have to deal with, the various issues of my life.  He sees them and He is at the right hand of God praying for me! I like that.
