ClosePsalm 119 is the longest of the 150 psalms and as such Pastor Jack has divided his study of it into several studies. A unique characteristic of this lengthy psalm is the fact that in all but two of the 175 verses reference God’s Word. Therefore, without question, the major theme of this psalm is the importance of relying on God’s Word. Additionally, this psalm consists of 22 stanzas, each with eight verses and each emphasizing in order a letter of the Hebrew alphabet. These acrostics helped in memorization. In this study, Pastor Jack shows the importance of hiding God’s Word in our hearts.
