Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.

Proverbs 16:3

I don’t know about you but I am always thinking.  I may be worse than most, but I think we are all like that to a degree.  We are always thinking of stuff, good things, not so good things, or dumb things.  It is like our minds are always racing.

The Lord reminded me recently that for me to keep my thought life on track, and to be thinking about eternal things throughout the day, I need to do one thing, commit my works to the Lord.

In everything that we do, let’s commit it to the Lord. That means our jobs, our relationships, and our ministries.  Everything!  And when we do that, our thoughts will be centered on the Lord!  They will be established in Godly things.
