Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
I’ve noticed in my own life that a lot of the times when I am struggling to trust in the Lord, it is because I am leaning on my own understanding — what I think, what I see, and what I want. But I’ve also realized that the best way to deal with this is to remind myself through His Word as to who Jesus is.
Not only is He worthy of me putting my trust in Him, but because of who He is, I am to acknowledge Him in everything I say and do. In doing so, out of His goodness it benefits me. Why? Because I receive His direction and His wisdom as to how to approach my life and everything in it. May Proverbs 3:5-6 be a reminder to trust in the Lord, and by acknowledging Him, see Him work in our lives.
For His Kingdom,
