Psalm 27:11-14, Isaiah 40:28-31

Psalm 27:11-14, Isaiah 40:28-31

Teach me Your way, O Lord, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.
Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence. I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Psalm 27:11-14, Isaiah 40:28-31

Waiting is often the hardest part of our spiritual journey. Yet, it’s in these seasons that God does some of His deepest work in us. David encourages us to “wait for the Lord” and to “be strong and take heart.” Waiting isn’t passive; it’s an active posture of expectancy and trust.

What are you currently waiting on God for? Instead of focusing solely on the outcome, ask God what He wants to teach you in this season of waiting. Are there areas where you need to develop patience, perseverance, or a deeper trust in His timing? Remember that as you wait, God is renewing your strength. He’s preparing you for what lies ahead.
