You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?

Psalm 56:8

            There is this mentality once you give your life to Jesus, it will be smooth sailing after that. But even after getting saved, there is still sadness in life. We weep for those people we know who aren’t saved or for loved ones who died. Jesus Himself wept as He saw the results of sin in people’s lives.

            God knows this and doesn’t mock our tears, but collects them. They are in a bottle and in His book so that we can see He takes our pain seriously. It’s good to have a God who understands our heartbreak and sadness and can comfort us as we go through it.
