Psalm 90:8
You have set our iniquities before You, Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.
Psalm 90:8
This verse sets before us a life-changing truth. All of our iniquities and secret sin is in the light of God’s eyes. He sees it all. This verse is not meant to condemn us, but to encourage us to not have any area of our lives hidden in the dark. Often times, the enemy will try to convince us that secret sin is “safe” sin. Our own flesh desires us to coddle our secret sin, making justifications to why just a “little” sin is ok.
We must remember sin will only lead to our destruction. The reality of Psalm 90 reveals that there should be no secret sin in our lives, no area hidden, but we should walk in the light of who God has called us to be. Do not give the enemy a foothold in your life no matter how small or harmless it may seem.
God is desiring to raise up a generation of men and women who live without compromise and who are incorruptible. Ask the Lord to search your heart today, so that nothing is hidden, and we can walk in the light with Christ.
