Psalms 106:24-25

Psalms 106:24-25

Then they despised the pleasant land; They did not believe His word, But complained in their tents, And did not heed the voice of the LORD.

Psalms 106:24-25

The Israelites were promised a land flowing with milk and honey. But instead, they did not believe God, but complained in their tents. They didn’t want to listen to what God had to say.

How often do we find ourselves grumbling and complaining when we are alone? Instead, we should be trusting in God and His word to us. We are blessed to be called the children of God. God has promised us eternal life and that more abundantly. Let’s pray to the Lord and ask Him for forgiveness and to cleanse our hearts. Then when difficulties arise, we can face them knowing that the Lord is with us. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

Trusting in the Lord,
