Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28
Jesus repeatedly placed His disciples in situations where their resources were insufficient—not to frustrate them but to teach them faith. Each difficulty was a divine classroom where spiritual understanding could be nurtured.
You may be in a season of perplexity, confusion, or lack. Don’t be so desperate to escape it that you miss the lesson God is teaching. He has preordained your circumstances to reveal truths about Himself that can only be learned through this particular trial. The value of distance is perspective—one day you’ll look back and see His faithfulness woven throughout.
God isn’t hiding from you in your difficulty; He’s the burning bush in your wilderness. He’s present in the fire with you. What spiritual truth might He be imparting that will set you free? Perhaps He’s teaching you to trust Him, to depend on His strength, or to find contentment in Him alone. Don’t waste your wilderness. Steward it well, and you’ll emerge wiser, clearer, and more in love with the One who called you.
