Matthew 6:26

Matthew 6:26

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Matthew 6:26

Have you ever seen a bird pacing back and forth and wringing its little wings together with a worried look on its face?  Not likely. They just happily flit around and sing a morning song. Why? Because God provides everything the birds need to survive even though they don’t sow or reap or hoard their possessions.

Birds don’t fret and worry; yet they have God’s wealth in ways man cannot duplicate. All of nature depends on God and God never fails.  Only mortal man depends on money, and money always fails. If our Father takes care of the birds, how much more will He take care of us, who are fashioned in His image.  Let the Lord give us our daily bread.
