Acts 18:9-10

Acts 18:9-10

Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.”

Acts 18:9-10

While no one likes to admit to being afraid, the truth of the matter is that every one of us is afraid at one time or another. Even the great and courageous apostle Paul had to be encouraged by God to stop being afraid. Are you afraid today? Are you afraid about your job, the economy, your marriage, or your family? Is fear gripping your heart because of your health, your finances, or your future? Maybe you’re in fear of the backlash you might receive for standing up for Jesus in your workplace, your home, or in your community?

What is the remedy for fear? Just as God’s Word came to Paul to calm his fears, so God’s Word comes to you today in the form of this email to calm your fears. Know that today you are not alone, God is with you and, as you live your life out loud for Him, you will discover that there are other believers out there with you as well. If God is for you, who can be against you?
